Bryant gains Cyber Essentials Plus Certification

Cyber Security – We’re on it!

We’re pleased to let our customers know that we have achieved Cyber Essentials Plus Certification – the highest level of certification under the UK government-backed supply chain assurance requirement, tailored to keep our data safe in the online marketplace.

Cyber Essentials ‘Plus’ certification mandates that suppliers bidding for specific sensitive or high-risk public sector contracts undergo independent verification of their baseline security controls.

Cyber Essentials ‘Plus’ covers the same five technical controls as the basic Cyber Essentials:

• Firewall

• Secure Configuration,

• User Access Control,

• Malware Protection

• Security Update Management

– but this higher level also adds an independent, hands-on technical verification to prove those controls work effectively in practice.

The independent audit covers Internal and External Vulnerability scans, Malware delivery checks and User Access evaluation, all directed towards minimising third-party risk.
